Car Dealership Haggle tips
I am planning to take advantage of Toyota's Auris Hybrid 0% interest offer on finance, for a new car.
Any tips on how to bring the total price down and reasoning to give to the dealership?
Much appreciated

Use the car broker sites like broadspeed.com
https://broadspeed.com/new_cars/Toyota/Auris/Choose_Number_Of_Doors/Hatchback/
Ask the dealer to price match. If he wont, tell him you'll go elsewhere.
They will possibly say they dont price match internet companies, however remind them that Broadspeed are part of the Inchcape group and they simply put you in touch with the UK dealer in their group who will sell at that price.
If by chance they say they cant discount AND give you 0% finance, then you know you're not really getting 0% finance and that its paid for by discount you'd otherwise get.
OR, simply use Broadspeed.0 -

Once you go through a broker, can the price be negotiated even more with the dealer like extras e.t.c"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

You want your cake and eat it? I like your style!
If you look at broadspeeds site for a specific car when you select it, you will see the options are discounted too.
I dont think they would "throw in metallic paint" but you should expect discount on any options you want.
I guess theres no harm in asking though.0 -
When you go in there and he tells you the price, say......
What !!! We don't want one each.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Well if you don't ask you don't get
I am looking at Drivethedeal.com and they are slightly cheaper than broadspeed and also have more feedback on Review centre"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Indeed
The reason i quoted broadspeed is that they, as i've said, are a front for the Inchcape group.
If you quote an internet company to your local dealer he'll say he doesnt price match internet companies, however he cant say that with Broadspeeds background.
Some of the other brokers may well be main dealer backed, though, i dont know.0
