Updates changed my browser

I always use Mozilla Firefox as my browser. Today when I started up my laptop, a message came up saying that updates had been installed to my START menu. And then, when I opened my browser, Firefox had gone and now I have BING.

I will revert to Firefox but what the hell ! How can an update do this without my permission ???

Anyone-else had this issue?

(BTW I have Windows 7 and my laptop is an Acer.)

Well you gave permission by accepting the 'update'.
I assume you mean installing Windows 10?

Bing is a search engine not a browser. So what browser was it?

It was Firefox. When I click on the Firefox desktop icon I now get BING.
