Christmas Table Gifts

I know there is information scattered about on a number of other threads, but please could we use this one to collate ideas for Christmas Table gifts?
Is this something you all do? I've always included a small gift for everyone on the Christmas table - originally this was just for the immediate family but now that my daughters are all grown up, their OHs are included too (and finding table gifts for guys seems so much more difficult!)
I have previously presented these in a number of different ways (last year Matalan had really nice coffee mugs with a single large initial letter on them, so I used those filled with small treats and wrapped in cellophane and tartan ribbons).
This year I have bought some red felt and will sew some Christmas stockings (hoping this will overcome the problem of only being able to include very small gifts in mugs or wine glasses!). I haven't sewn them yet but have set myself a deadline of the end of August to do it or else they'll never get done
As for fillings : I always include a lottery scratchcard each. My daughters get a small piece of jewellery (usually silver earrings) each, maybe a miniature perfume or a travel size hand cream, but the guys are much harder to buy for. I've done miniature spirits, travel size after shave, bottle openers, mini torches etc before but am rapidly running out of ideas.
What are your table settings like? Let's talk Christmas tables!!

There are previous threads on this exact topic. Perhaps a search of the site may help you? Maybe even a wander onto this year's christmas chatter thread, where the topic again comes up fairly regularly.0

Shame this has stopped as i do think the idea,s get lost amongst all the chatter,
I would love to have known what everyone else did on a less chatter thread,0 -
I picked up a couple of excellent table-gift-stocking-fillers-for-men in Poundland yesterday - they had tool-shaped metal keyring bottle openers (left over I think from their Father's Day selection, so there weren't many left). I got three spanner ones which will be perfect for the guys.
I'm thinking of including novelty USB sticks, as I have found some 8gb ones in the shape of guitars, pianos, cameras etc for less that £3 each. These are on a well known auction site and shipped from Hong Kong so they'll probably take months to arrive.0 -
usb sound good, i,ll go and look myself now--thanks c j :beer:0

this is such a lovely idea, might try and incorporate it into my christmas plans this year.DEBT

Last year I gave my family personalised Coke bottles and taste of Christmas mugs. I got the Christmas mugs idea from Ruthhoney on one of the older threads dedicated to Christmas preparations:
Have made up a 'Taste of Christmas' mug for my Auntie.
Put in some sachets of
- winter spice hot chocolate,
- mulled spice tea,
- gingerbread latte and
- camomile & spiced apple tea
Add some chocolate coins and a candy cane.
Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...
..one size fits all... and nobody minds if you give it back.☆.。.:*・° Housework is so much easier without the clutter ☆.。.:*・°SPC No. 5180 -
Xmas socks for the guys, the idea about USB sticks is a good one, mini travel toiletries, a nice razor (though these aren't cheap.) choc is always a winner.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

For men, how about cuff links, trolley coins (the gym my husband used to go to needed a £ coin for the locker, so a trolley coin did the trick!), chilli seeds if they like to cook?MFW 2016 #32 £1574.66/£1500:j:j0

Ooh, trolley coins are a great suggestion - thank you, Laura! I could even up the feelgood factor and buy charity ones for everyone. Seeds are a fantastic idea too, especially as these are all being reduced at this time of year so the timing is perfect (I got some in Wilkos yesterday for about 20p a packet ..... I bought them just for my fruit/veg gardening next year and hadn't thought to include them as gifts for people, but I will now).
I bought a couple of those Spaceform-type small glass tokens in a giftshop sale for just £1 each this morning. Not proper Spaceform, but very similar. Not for the lads as I don't think they would appreciate them but my daughters certainly will.0
