Help Deciding on Car

Hi I need some help choosing. We are looking to buy a used seat leon. Test drove one on saturday. I am torn between one that is £6500 2010 with 45000 miles on the clock or spending only £5000 on one that is 2008 77000 miles but higher spec (climate controls, cruise control etc). The more expensive one is in white which I really like. Do I pay more to get a newer car with less miles on the clock and slightly less spec.

That is a matter for you . Depends on other things , like what engine is it ? Everyone has a different view on this , newer is generally always better .

I think the 2.0 VW tdi engine is the problem, the old 1.9 were really good, although there was one of the three states of tune to avoid, somebody correct me but I think it was the middle powered one.

Issues with VW engines are oil use and conrods going. I had an A4 with the 1.9 lower state of tune and it was great, 55mpg all day sitting @ 80mph.
