Yes £35 sounds much better than £24 which I too think is unrealistically low. £35 should just about do it assuming you also use very little....but just be prepared to pay £45 per month.

before buying the property I estimated bills to ensure I could cover the costs and my estimate was £100 for electric just to be safe.

I enter readings on the last day of every month (website was down on 31st July when I went to enter them) then calculate myself how much I've spent (sad but effective )

I am the only person in the flat and all my white goods are A rated if not better (excluding dishwasher as the lady left that for me)

it must just be that my tv etc are cheap to run?

I have a 300w panel heater which appears to be actually quite good

Also my flat gets direct sunlight in morning/ during day
My bedroom gets direct sunlight in afternoon/evening

LED TV's are cheap to run. Much cheaper than CRT and LCD TV's.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
