I know these are supposed to be issued on upvc doors and windows.
Are they also supposed to be issued on gutters/fascia boards/downpipes?

Doors, windows and rooflights only.0 -
As above, the answer is no which makes the gutter, fascia and downpipe industry an area loved by itinerant contractors, cowboy builders, and all round con men. It is so lucrative that the nationals like Anglia, Everest, Safestyle have realised that they too can get a slice of this market and adopt the same abysmal standards as their small competitors.
Anyone having this work done should be stringent with the specification, the site control, the inspection and the payment.0 -
Tell me about it Furts:mad::(
Reason I'm asking is I'm clearing through paperwork of last couple of years (ie since I moved here) and wondering whether I should have a Fensa certificate for my gutters/fascias/etc.
Reason I had to have the job done = last owner had obviously found one of those cowboy firms to do it in the first place and I had to get it all ripped off (and it wasn't that old either:() and replaced by another firm. Its done to proper standard now and I'm getting compliments on it.0
