Getting stressed already and want a broker to take over case. Had dip refered due to computer error. Can my broker pick up the case now after I went direct first?

I dont think any lender will allow that. Who have you applied to out of curiosity?
But a DIP is basically all but the first step. So you will not have lost too much time if you go to a broker now.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. You've been declined so there's no ongoing case, so the broker will start a new application for you.0

DIP referring is not a DIP declining...I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Nationwide. So would they make the broker do another dip in our names even though they have one? Surely the broker could just start a full application if I get a dip back successfully ????0

I imagine the broker wouldnt get their fee from Nationwide if you have already gone direct and therefore reluctant to take it on.0

If a broker took this on, they would (or should) start this from scratch...
Factfind, Research, DIP, Application.
It ensures they have all of the information they need, the information is entered correctly and that they know everything they need to from the outset.
If you do not want to carry on with Nationwide, leave it. Let the broker sort it out and come back with whoever they recommend - that could be nationwide or someone else.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
