This was forwarded on to me by a work colleague.
Has anyone heard of this? Sounds a bit iffy to me.

Sounds like binary option trading, no different to taking a punt on a racehorse but far closer to that than standard investment.0

Did your work colleague's email get hacked by any chance?

Looks like a site that should not be visited.0 -
The searchingprofits.me website was first registered four months ago to someone in China. The page where you are supposed to sign up gives no indication about the company, nor what country's legal jurisdiction you would be "trading" under [Edit: correction - it is shown as subject to the laws of France].
Apparently it is "free" to use, but you do of course have to give them a minimum of £200 as "initial funding" - which I suspect you will never see again...0 -

OMG, does that mean my email has been hacked as well?
I did the usual full Kaspersky scan that I do every Sunday and also a Malwarebytes scan, but they didn't show up any problems.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -

The site appears to be down. Pulled or seized, no way to tell.0

The so-called "review" site that they use when spamming is down, but the trading site itself - where they seek to take your money - is not.
This is a typical spammer tactic - firstly so that they can claim that the spamming was nothing to do with them, and secondly so that if the site quoted in their spam gets taken down they just keep registering new ones!
Just did a quick check of their terms and conditions, and it seems that, if a punter wants their money back, there are all sorts of undefined "deductions" that they will take before refunding (if there is anything left to refund, that is).0
