Car Breakdown Cover
I need to purchase breakdown cover for my Zafira. Had AA Silver membership but they want £110 (one payment) or £11 per month to renew.
I've had a look on comparethemarket.com and can find much cheaper deals but I'm a bit scared - does anyone have any recommendations or advice re who to steer clear from?
Really need to get it sorted so would appreciate anyone's input.
Thanks in advance xx

I've been with Greenflag for years after giving the AA the elbow. Only had to call them once in 7 years and came within the hour. Currently half the price of equivilant AA membership.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

There's also flex plus current account, net cost if you have a full balance for interest is only around £60 and you get travel insurance, purchase and mobile phone insurance thrown in.0
-
AutoAid - £41 a year covers you and your spouse ( if applicable ) in any car.0

Another vote for Auto-Aid-insurance based. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Auto Aid gets my vote as does Insurance Choice if you can't pay up front and claim back.0

Autonational......used their services 3 times year before last, no problems at all.

If you go on holiday a couple of times a year then the Nationwide Flex Plus account is definitely the way to go. Works out significantly cheaper than buying the various policies separately, and you don't have to mess about: so long as you have the account you are covered.Je suis Charlie.0
