I see they must have changed their survey qualification somewhat. Until recently every survey I received I completed and got rewarded for. Now I have started to have surveys start and after doing a few questions- it finishes and goes back to their homepage. A pity as I really liked the way you knew you would get paid whenever you got a survey from them...

I'm really sorry if that's the case because they were one of the very few survey companies that only sent invitations to surveys that you were guaranteed to be eligible for. I've been a member for about 7 years and have had several £50 payouts from them, even though it took months to get to the payout stage:(
Am now at 4725 points so not far from my 5000 points redemption point and I too noticed something funny with the latest survey I did yesterday. On the invite it said it was for 75 points and I expected it to be really long as they are usually for 50 points each. I answered loads of questions and didn't get a screen-out message or anything but a page came up which said the survey I was about to do was worth 25 points. The questions just carried on, it's as if the version I was on had changed midway through:(. I assumed that I'd be rewarded for both surveys at the end (I must have spent about 40 minutes in total:eek:) but I was only awarded 25 points.
I'd be very interested to know if anyone else has experienced any changes with them. If YouGov are going to move the goalposts I'll be ditching them as soon as my £50 redemption arrives:(0 -

I had exactly the same thing happen yesterday, told the survey was 75pts and it changed part way through to 25 pts. If this carries on I won't be continuing after I cash out.0 -

Similar for me.
Originally said 75 points; I answered questions; then it switched to saying for 50 points; answered more questions; BUT then got to a page where I continually got an oops! message and to reload or try later; I did both and tried both hours apart but it still will not move on.
So actually I got no points whatsoever for all my effort. (And I'm under £10-worth of points at the moment so it isn't just to hold me back from achieving an imminent payout.)0 -
Same just happened to me. said 75 points, answered quite a lot of questions about dream jobs in childhood etc, then suddenly said it was a Prize Draw survey,so I carried on but gave minimal answers as I never do prize draw ones and at end I have only had 50 prize draw entries.0

Intresting, had one for 150 which wuld take me over 5000 and could redeem however only 50 awarded0

I answered a good many questions for the first survey, 75 points, and then it combined with the next for 50. I thought it was a bit odd so checked at end to ensure I had been credited with 125 points but in list of completed surveys there was no mention of both, just: 'You earned 50 points for 'YouGov Tech Poll'. I am nowhere near pay out.“Rain drops are not the ones who bring the clouds.”0

I got to my first 5000 on 7th July, and I'm expecting my £50 any time now.
I've started again, and currently have 350 points.
I don't do any of the other survey companies now as I was fed up with being screened out.
I haven't noticed any difference with You Gov yet (but I haven't had a survey for a few days) If they are going to change how they do it, I'll give up with them as well. I like the extra money, but life is too short to be messed around with!Early retired - 18th December 2014

I had that one as well! Not that interested in the Prize Draw ones. Did once win a really cheap pair of binoculars! Just what I always wanted!
Also notice, even if you do qualify for the amount they first promise you- they have some extra questions at the end for no payment. First time I assumed you get extra points and completed them. But no extra points so skip that part, if I get that far!0 -
Same here - 75 pt survey (and after 10 mins of questions) suddenly they offer me a survey for 25 pts. Also had a £3 survey for my child - completed then they told me they had enough respondents and offered me a 50 pts survey! The extra questions are also a disgrace - they obviously aren't getting enough replies on the homepage and so making those taking the surveys to answer them!
When it comes to the satisfaction rating at the end I tick the lowest option and I tell them they ought to be ashamed of themselves. If Peter Kellner (with his numerous repetitive polls) cannot predict the outcome of the General Election, what hope is there for the survey side of YouGov.....?0 -
Just had an email from Yougov re. the 75pts survey. Apologies as they had a glitch and they have credited the 75 pts.:T0
