incapacity work questionnaire

my wife as been on incapacity benefit since 1990 with very ill health as had a few IB50 forms in this time and as received one this week she will be 58 years old in november i been told they do not send these forms after you are 58 years old is this true please could anyone give her some advice be very greatful

    I have never heard anything about forms not being sent out after turning 58. If this is the case hopefully someone else can confirm it.

    It's not true. My sister had to fill one out when she was 59.

    IB is at present normally payable up to 1 day before minimun pension age (MPA) -60 women / 65 men. An IB 50 would not be issued to anyone within 6 months of MPA.
