Using Tablet plugged into mains

A little advice please. OH has a tablet she uses for about 3-4 hours per day (I know!) but anyway,
Is it better to use it plugged into the mains say 6 days a week and then on the battery only for 7th day
Or
Charge up battery each night and use the battery for the next day's use?
Many Thanks.

charge and discharge is better for the battery, if you run from the mains constantly it will shorten the battery life

The Lenovo Yoga Pro that I'm typing this on comes up with a warning message if I've been using it at a charge of greater than 70% for too long and warns that the battery could be damaged if it's not allowed to drain to a lower level.0
