Freeview box for old tv

I have a tv which is 18 years old. If I got a freeview box would it work with it? I am in a flat and so have a digital aerial. Thanks

Any TV should work with a Freeview box but the Freeview box needs have suitable output(s) to suit the TV's input(s).

PS no such thing as digital aerial in a flat or not.

Yes it will work. Assuming you have a scart socket in the telly (not essential) get a scart one, it should give you a clearer picture.

Even if you don't have SCART in the TV you will be able to find a Freeview box with RF output (not just pass through) that you will tune your TV into. Very likely second hand. I've got an ancient Pioneer Freeview box that does this.

Have a look on Freecycle/Freegle as people give away old boxes, which would suit your tv, when they want to upgrade.
