White kitchen!

Basically have just bought a new build house and we get everything starndard unless we want to pay to upgrade.
We have picked cream tiles for the kitchen and the standard kitchen comes in white, so would be cream tiles with white sink, cooker etc......
to upgrade to stainless steel will cost £405.00 is it worth it? or should i just stick with the white? will it clash with the tiles?
Thanks everyone

Personally I can't stand white sinks, unless they are porcelain Belfast sinks, and I really don't like the stainless steel cookers, and fridges either - but each to their own!
What you need to consider is if the worktop colour you have chosen will offset the white/cream. Also your accessory colours, both utensil and blinds and any wall paint will subdue/enhance the colour situation.0 -
I have a white plastic sink and I hate it. It stains if I just drink a cup of coffee in the same room. I am single handedly keeping Domestos in business. White appliances, on the other hand, save you paying over the odds in the future trying to find new appliances to match.0

True!
Just had mixed reports you see. Some people cant stand stainless steel and say it marks to much but dont know.

Kitchen fashions come and go. Remember 10 years ago everyone was buying coloured cookers? A white sink and cooker with white worktop will give you an unbroken run and make the area look bigger, SS will break up the run and could make the area look smaller..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I'd wait until I moved in and see how I get on with it. You can get a new Franke 1.5 bowl sink with mixer tap for just over £100 from B&Q, so if you can't live with it, you can change it pretty easily later on.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I don't like silver/stainless steel aapliances, so white would be my choice.
Are they REaLLY giving white sinks - stainless steel here only costs pennies different in price, I'd think.
Anyway - bet you could do with £405 in your pocket, just now, instead of the builders!!
Keep it as low £$£$ as you can - change it later!!

I agree with Toots about the tiles and previous poster about white plastic sinks being terrible for stains.
Are sinks standard size then? Would love to replace mine if only £100.
Agree cream & white can look very wrong, it kind of jars. Depends on the cream though. I would stay away from any kind of sink except stainless steel, as the plastic type are a pain to keep clean. I love the look of Belfast sinks, but chip them far too easily (like the day after they're fitted!)
Quill, sinks can be bought for practically pennies to £500+, taps too. They are not a standard size.0
