Parcelforce 48 - Delay Claim?

Has anyone ever done this?

When does the 48hrs start, on the day it's collected from the post office?
I assume this service is supposed to be guaranteed?

My parcel started it's journey on 28th July, an still not showing as delivered.

You can claim, assuming it wasn't to the outlying areas in the UK.

Did you parcel get dropped at the PO or collected? If you dropped it to the PO after the Parcelforce driver has collected it won't go until the next day. Making 48 hours today.

Thanks it's showing as collected on 28th. I dropped it at a PO.

It showed out for delivery yesterday, then the same today. It's going to Brighton.

We had this with a ParcelForce48. Delivered on the 3rd day after a late afternoon collection from the PO. We claimed online and had a small refund (I think it was 25% of the cost) within a fortnight.
