Halifax Bank Charges

am i able to reclaim bank charges from 12 years ago with the halifax bank

No you can't is the short answer, you would have to be still with them, still getting charges and in current financial hardship.0

Only if you have been in continuous financial hardship for the whole of the last 12 years and are still CURRENTLY in financial hardship. Even then, most banks if they agree you are in hardship, will only consider a much shorter period (6-12 months).
The only other area is incorrect application of charges.if so how do i go about it please
