how to please.

It isn't listed in "All programs", but there is an icon

Right click doesn't show 'uninstal' as an option

Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.

Select a program, and then click Uninstall.

The icon is only a short cut to the programme and deleting it does not delete the prog, as I am sure you know. However if you right click on the icon and properties, you can see where the programme is installed. This may help you to find it as detailed above.

Would help if you told us what program you are trying to uninstall, and what OS you are running...

It's far from ideal, but as an absolute last resort you can delete the installation folder(s) manually and search for leftovers in the registry. But don't delete anything you're not sure of!
  • If you have to delete manually (ie. not using the program's uninstall option), you can clean up the registry with CC Cleaner.
