Downloading apps on start TV?

I have new LG smart TV, can anyone please advise me (in simple terms) how do I download apps? ( mainly ITV, channel 4) iplayer is already downloaded. Any advice appreciated, thank you.

As far as I know you cant,
Smart TVs are only as Smart as the manufacture chooses to make them out of the box
They may sometimes release a firmware update which might at a new function ( app) - but not generally
For more flexibility, look for a 3rd party box

NOW box is cheap enough £10 and has most of the catch up services

Can you find the logo for the app store in the menus?
