UKPS PCN - appeal or ignore

I received (onscreen) a UK Parking Solutions PCN on 27th July in a private residential parking area where I live. Reason given on ticket "Permit Required". I had lost my original permit but had a photo of it so I had printed that and that was displayed in the car (a hire car - the permits are not specific to a car). I was reading the Sticky Notes and was wondering whether I should appeal to UKPS or not as they do not appear in the list of AOS members even though they are a member of the BPA, according to the ticket. i.e would I be giving myself away unnecessarily by appealing.
I have e-mailed the managing agent to get a new replacement permit as I am paid up for a year. I hope they don't keep ticketing me until the new permit arrives too.

UK Parking Solutions are a BPA Approved Operator (T R Luckins T/A UKPS) and shouldn't be ignored. Ignoring means six years of uncertainty as they have that length of time to pursue you, including potentially claiming against you via the Small Claims Court.
The NEWBIES FAQ sticky will take you through the process you now need to follow. So a bit of research, a template appeal provided for you, then eventually an appeal via POPLA (with lots of examples of successful appeals to work from) will see this killed off. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
