Dreamies - have they changed the recipe?

Options
In our house we call Dreamies 'kitty crack' because our puddies go mad for it... at least they used to.

For the last couple of weeks they've been turning their noses up at the latest batch (yellow packs). I've even bought some from another source but with the same results... very disappointed and disgusted looking cats!

It's typical that I've just bought a shed load from Zooplus when they were on a special offer.

Are your kitties still addicted?

The pack I have is batch number 100034, expiry date of 23-7-2016.

The cat will take my fingers off if I'm not careful, and she can be a fussy eater.

If your animals are turning their noses up at the latest batch, send a complaint to the manufacturers - See what they have to say, and they might send you something else as a replacement.

Mine hasn't been mad for them for a while now.

I just assumed she'd got bored of them.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

Mine prefers Whiskas Temptations. I've decanted the Dreamies I bought before I realized this into the Temptations container.

It works a treat - no pun intended. Apart from the fact that I've accidentally left the container on the worktop once or twice. The lids don't seal very well and Tilly swiped the container on to the floor and then filled her boots!

I haven't noticed any different Tiddlywinks. Mine still love 'em.

Although the older one loves them more. She goes nuts for them too! I thought it was just my cat. What's in them?!

Also Sainsburys and Morrisons own they quite like. :)
Proud to have lost over 3 stone (45 pounds,) in the past year! :j Now a size 14!

    Mine still loves them too.

He has a food maze tower thing - if we drop some of his dry food in there he's a bit half-hearted. Drop a Dreamie in and he's all over it till he's got it out. :D

Try a different flavour? Is yellow the cheese one? That's our kitty's least favourite - though that just means he goes marginally less bonkers for it.

We have the mix one in orange and purple and we've seen no change with that.

One of mine still loves every flavour of them but she is greedy and eats just about everything. Her sister used to love them but has gone off them recently but she is a bit of a fussy eater.

Dunno, but the cheese flavoured ones (yellow packet) taste a little spicy with a hint of cheddar cheese. There is also a very slight taste of salt, but most people wouldn't notice it.

I would suggest that's your problem :) I don't know how cats do it, but if you buy a load of anything on offer you can pretty much guarantee that they'll go right off it ...
