A friend of mine has a rare form of cancer (I think it is rare) and her daughter, who for her whole life has hated any of her hair to be cut so has very long and lovely hair, is going to shave it off and donate it to the Little Princess charity which makes real hair wigs for kids with cancer. She is also being sponsored, with the money going to MacMillan Cancer Support (Charity Registration No. 261017).

If you have a bit of spare cash, even a little, please consider sponsoring Ellie's Brave the shave: https://www.justgiving.com/ElliePeatman

Her Mum's blog is quite amazing. Very positive and moving, but don't read it if you find someone talking about their Christian faith offensive. She isn't pious or yukky but her faith is very strong and is helping her cope. She is very real and I find what she writes deeply inspirational. The blog is here: http://debbiepeatman.blogspot.co.uk/
