Good Evening All
I just wanted to share with you all, tomorrow I am paying the last £500 of my debt. I AM OFFICIALLY DEBT FREE!
When I fist started debt busting back in 2007, I (and my OH at the time) had close to 20k debt. Fast forward to now, and although i'm on my own now with the kids, i've still managed to keep focused (mostly) and can now say i'm debt free. Wow, i've not been this way for 11 years!!!!
I'm so happy I could burst! I'm going to keep on living the way I have been, keep up with my diary, and actually start saving money instead of paying off debt!
I would like to thank every all of you on here for all your help and support, be it through directly responding to my posts, or through me reading your inspiring words to keep me going through the darkest times in my life.
To those still paying off debt; keep going, you really can make it! I truly didn't think this day would ever come; how wrong I was! And a whole 5 months earlier than expected too!

Absolutely bl**dy fantastic, Kirstle, well done!
And your words will go on to encourage and support others who are at the beginning of their debt-free journeys.0 -
Congratulations. It's a lovely feeling ! Last week I received a cheque for £8000 from Mencap as I had won first prize in their raffle. This enabled me to pay off the last £7000 of debt, so on the 14th of September my OH and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary completely debt free.0
