Parking Charge

Hello there,

I received a parking charge yesterday although I have a permit for my place of work where the ticket was issued. I have been told that it could be that it was not quite visible. The charge is from UKPC for £90 or £50 if paid within fourteen days. This site has helped me once before so here I am again asking for advice. I won the last appeal regarding a fine from APCOA at Luton Airport.

It is signposted about the parking if you do not possess a permit and what the consequences can be.

Is this a charge I have to pay? Please help.

also get the landowner or employer to cancel it , seeing as you have permission to park and there is no loss to the landowner

You also need to see their photographic evidence if you say your permit was on display.

I have seen the photographic evidence now and the permit is on the dashboard, but slightly obscured by the tinted section of the windscreen.

Then that is a valid appeal point i.e. the permit was on display and can be seen in photo.
