New Amazon balance: £1.67
Bought birthday presents for N and F, my friends' little girls, and part of my dad's birthday present. Racing ahead!
Next present priorities:
• The rest of my dad's present! Might end up getting chocolate from Tesco, but hope to find something on Amazon.
• My friend's birthday present (20th Dec)
• Xmas presents for F, B, N and baby due in Oct (all friends' kids — and all girls, so far!)Rainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

Congrats on the job trial, I hope you ace it, you certainly deserve it
Re the chocolate for your Dad. It's a long way away, but there is a lovely sweet shop in London called Mrs kibbles or something like that. They may do mail order, and they do really good sets of sweets and chocolates of all different types.

That chocolate sounds far too special for my dad! Lol! Seriously, he gobbles up everything and loves Toblerone and Cadbury's fruit and nut, so anything fancier is wasted on him. I will bear that shop in mind for my mum though
Today has gone well. :T I finished 2 pages of the brochure and emailed them to S for feedback. I hope she likes them. I also submitted 4 proposals on Upwork, meticulously avoiding the dodgy-sounding jobs which want to pay people £1 an hour
Now I'm going to make a bigger dent in the library book! :jRainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

What I would like to achieve today::
• Finish the library book (about 150 pages to go)
• Finish writing the intro to my ebook
• Do some freewriting
• Play around with the next brochure page for S/ideas for the project
• Submit another proposal on Upwork
No worries if I don't do everything, but I'll give it a go!Rainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

Um... I finished the library book! I also posted on my blog, which I forgot to put on my list this morning. Haven't done much (okay, anything) else though.
S sent me an email — she likes the pages I've done so farShe has sent me some logos I need and is going to hunt out some photos. I'm relieved; I know she isn't expecting anything spectacular, but I want to do a good job and impress S and the CO.
Might do some scribbling in my writing journal before bed...Rainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

My aims for today are what I didn't do yesterday... Lol!
My mum reminded me that my dog is due his booster at the start of November, so I need to stop spending so much when we go shopping and bear it in mind. I won't have to pay until the end of the month though, when my mum presents me with my monthly invoice (at my request), so I have a little wiggle room.Rainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

Hmmm...so today didn't go as planned! I ended up reorganising and decluttering my books, getti rid of a bookcase and putting more books up in the loft ready for a car boot sale sometime. I dislodged a lot of dust, but my bedroom is even more spacious and will easily accommodate 2 friends who are staying over tomorrow night
When I got the sleeping bag out of the loft ready to air tomorrow, I got my crochet bag and curling tongs back down. I put them in the loft as a decluttering experiment, to see if I would miss them over several months, and I do! I want to get back to learning to crochet again because I think it would be a great skill to have and it helps me stay mindful.
I've got a lot to do tomorrow to prepare for my friends coming, but I hope to work on the brochure. The ebook intro will have to wait until over the weekend. I did some freewriting today, adding more to the story idea, so feel a little productive writing-wiseAlso sorted out my magazines, sending a couple to recycling and a couple to be passed along. I feel more organised, which will hopefully help me to work towards my goals.
