    Looking on the bright side, perhaps this could mean that we the customers have a further six months respite before the banks universally say that now we have access to an improved all-singing, all-dancing cheque clearing service, we can begin paying directly for personnal banking ?

    This is old news though. The delay was first given over a month ago. Indeed, posts on here were being made about the delay last month.

    BBC must be short of news today.
