Hi guys/gals,
Thanks so much for advice given so far. I've got an Amazon Fire Stick (£19 in the 'prime' sale)...best money I've ever spent with sideloaded apps etc!
I have a pants internet connection with Sky (5.9mps-& that's WITH a brand new sky 2 hub-no fibre providers in my area i'm afraid). It used to be 5.1 mps & Sky have pushed it up a bit....& issues with buffering are minmal now on the stick.
I recently downloaded an app that shows the signal strength on each channel, interfering channels etc...so I've picked channel 5 as best signal. I have a Tenda W150 wireless bridge that is ethernet cabled into the back of the sky box for sky catch up. The signal strength app shows it is WAY higher than the wifi signal the the fire stick picks up. There is no way to physically connect this box to the fire stick. Does anyone know if I can use it to connect to the fire stick. It's wirelss...not bluetooth....& as far as I know it's just bluetooth to connect to fire stick?

There are various settings on fron channel &can be set to just 'wifi' rather than 'client & ap' which is the stting for sky catch up.
A big ask but I'm so not technical....any ideas guys/gals?
