I suppose it was inevitable with the lemming-like race by early adopters to download W10 that the Phishing Brigade would seize on this golden opportunity.
It seems that there are already a number of very realistic looking but fake emails and popups doing the rounds claiming to be from reputable companies like Dell and HP offering a direct link to the download which of course results in viruses and data encryption/ransom demands.
So if you're tempted to download from anywhere other than a genuine Microsoft link, think again folks. :cool:
