McDonald's is buy 6 get one free
And it's a lot cheaper too! If I get tea in Costa it's like £1.75! Or 99p in McDs! I rarely buy tea when I'm out unless I'm eating in, I get it free at work(I don't drink coffee)
I do like the iced drinks by Costa though! I have a card, and it's useful for the times I want a free drink when I'm skint!0 -
Won't touch Starbucks with a bargepole, awful coffee and despise them thinking I have to give my name to order a coffee.
It doesn't have to be your actual name and it's not as though they ask your life story or how your mother's doing it's to stop the impatient people that take the first instance of their drink as soon as its called out. Despite the fact there is a >10 people cue and they have literally just paid. I don't think even the fastest barista could make a coffee in the time it takes you to walk to the pick up counter from the till and yet there they are just barging on in and stealing drinks...0 -

Another prop for McDonald's here. Even after the recent price rise, one free coffee for every five (after you've bought six, obviously) is by far the best coffee loyalty scheme going.
Costa is nicer but the loyalty scheme is frankly crap and the coffee more expensive. I'd rather pay £2.50 less a week and then get a free coffee for a slightly less nice coffee (and McDonald's lattes are pretty good). Nero's just tastes burnt to me, and Starbucks is weak as all hell.urs sinserly,

I'll stick with my Caffe Nero card. Free drink every nine and I'm currently earning my stamps free courtesy of O2 so not actually paying for coffee.
I do have a Costa card but tend to ignore my balance until and use it when I don't have cash in my pocket and want a coffee.
Won't touch Starbucks with a bargepole, awful coffee and despise them thinking I have to give my name to order a coffee.
Nero can afford to run their loyalty program due to all the UK corporation tax they avoid paying0 -
Costa coffee is godawful, weak and tasteless, Greggs is nicer and it's half the price.Out on blue six..
It's Chips and Jackets, Peas and Trousers.0 -
I've just discovered if you buy a pack of Starbucks ground coffee (currently on offer at £2.50 in Tesco) you get a free medium latte if you take the empty packet in. Not bad if you drink a lot of filter/cafetiere coffee at home.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
