    I don't usually like long appeals, but I do like this one.

    Just make sure that the presentation has lots of good layout. For example, you could layout this bit like this, just to highlight your points and break up the large amount of text. There are other areas as well.

    The following points (A)-(E) may be observed on the NTK, making this a non-compliant NTK under the POFA 2012, Schedule 4 para 8:

    A) The 'period of parking' is not shown, only the time of issue of an alleged PCN (as required by POFA 12 Schedule 4 paras 8(2)(a) and 8(2)(b));

    B) It does not repeat the information on the parking charge notice (as required by POFA 12 Schedule 4 para 8(2)(c))

    C) It specifies that there are unpaid parking charges “for the specified period of parking” (which was not specified), even though there are no unpaid charges for parking (in contravention of POFA 12 Schedule 4 para 8(2)(d));

    D) It does not identify the creditor (as required by POFA 12 Schedule 4 para 8(2)(h)).

    E) The ‘date on which the notice is sent’ is not explicit (as required by POFA Schedule 4 para 8(2)(i)).

    the points you made for your appeal Mike, were for a parking charge that had the possibility to purchase a ticket for the day.

    Ha! I didnt actually know if I am honest. Ive never read it. Ive a permit and the space is my own.

    As I said don't worry about it, I know how this seems first time round but it really is a simple process. I play games with them by baiting them and turn my ticket upside down. The only reason Ive stopped is because I want to wait and see how the new POPLA replacement turns out. Once I know its straight forward as before I will continue.

    Which reminds me Ive two more to submit at POPLA....

    Ive run out of pre-printed stage 1 appeals and i think Ill try blaming a giraffe or something on the parking offense and see if they give me a POPLA code.

    Haha that will probably do the trick. Usually my appeals get accepted at the first appeal, so this was pretty new to me!

    Thanks guys dad, I will change that and send it off.

    Will update you guys when I hear back from POPLA.
