Signed, thanks for finding it. What's wrong with a little competition? And it's already a car park!0

I parked there at the weekend and was very sad to see that they had a sign up saying that they are closing on 28th August.0

The Boals website has the statement below:-
"Boal Airport Parking is unfortunately closed from 28th August until further notice. This is due to our planning appeal rejection on the basis of there is no "need" for an off-site car park at Belfast City Airport."
Please sign our iPetition to help reopen the car park:
Thanks for your support.
Hopefully that means they haven't completely given up and are going to try again for planning permission.

Ridiculous situation.
You can park for a working week for under £25 in the International airport, where competition has been allowed, but at the city airport, where no competition is allowed, you pay £50.
Hows that in any way good for the consumer?
The "government" we have here seems only interested in bickering, political point scoring against the "other side" and getting as much financially out of it as they can for themselves, their families, and their business associates.
When real decisions need to be made they are all frankly spineless.

Some rumours flying around these days would suggest this all might be about to come to a head.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -
Airport Prices increased already
Two weeks 20th June--4th July- Boals £45
Airport- Long Stay £50- Fast Track £55- Short Stay(Offer) £57
NOW- Long Stay £52--Fast Track£70 -Short Stay £700 -
Might not be ideal for all, but what I usually do is park beside the Odyssey and grab a taxi out to the airport for a few quid. The Old Channel road usually has loads of parking (its used quite heavily 9-5 though but you could get lucky)Mortgage starting balance (June 2014): £75,000
Mortgage at present: £71,824 [STRIKE]£72,179[/STRIKE]
Mortgage Free Target Date: January 20300 -
Another car park in Belfast is operating without planning permission, will Belfast City Council close it too?
