Hi anyone know if you can still place a wanted ad one ebay??

umm , no , however you could post a picture of something similar , and in big print , "no longer available"

then explain that you are actually looking for "x" ,

might run a while till ebay spot it

If you do that you do run the risk of someone bidding/buying despite their being nothing to buy. Some people just don't read descriptions/titles properly/at all.

then do it at something like £9,999 , that way people will look at your advert

mark in big print (inc description) "ITEM NOW SOLD" , people WILLclick on your advert ,

if you put £9999 as a start price , you can go to the shop and buy a new one and post it , if it sells
