Timpson Watch Repairs: INCOMPETENT

Dropped my watch off at the Timpson branch in Euston Station. Was advised the inner mechanism would be replaced. Paid £55 and was told I would be called within three days and the job would be completed in a week's time.
Did not receive a phone call. The ticket stub I had been given had a non-existent phone number. I eventually got through on a phone number I googled and was informed it would be ready soon and I would be called and updated on its progress. No phone call. I called a week later and was told they could not guarantee they would be able to fix it and if they could fix it were not able to tell me how long it would take. Though were wanting to keep my money!
No surprise I went their store, got my money back and took my watch and to a proper watchmakers.
Avoid them.

You should have bought some full stops while you were in Tescos - it would have made your post much easier to read.

I came on here for some sensible advice about bad mannered staff working in Timpson

Exactly where in your post do you ask for advice? You told us you were treated poorly, sworn at and we should not go to Timpsons in Evesham. This may, of course, be good advice.

Indeed. Although surely that qualifies as giving advice, not asking for it?

Some might consider at least some attempt to use punctuation (and new lines) a politeness to readers.

It's certainly worth bringing the matter to someone's attention.

I took the "You should have bought some full stops ..." to be a more light hearted way of pointing out the problem than a passive-aggressive type response such as: "Please consider using full stops as it makes your post easier to read".
