Balance Transfers to Halifax Mastercard

I'm new to this and have a question re store card balance transfers. I recently got the Halifax MasterCard 0% on balance transfers for 14 months but have been unable to balance transfer my store card debts - apparently Halifax will only balance transfer from existing cards with the American Express or MasterCard logo. I only have one with the MasterCard logo and three with none. Are there credit card deals available that will accept balance transfers from these store cards?

Nonsense. Surely they can transfer from Visa credit cards too, but store cards can be different.

Without doubt a card offering 0% money transfer will do the job. Possibly there are other options, but there is no point in guessing without knowing what exactly store cards you have.

Thanks grumbler. I've spent so much time on the phone with Halifax and the various finance companies trying to figure this out. Halifax couldn't even explain why they can't accept store card balance transfers. I'll look into the 0% money transfer option.
