I'm a bit confused on this and how my system might fit in.
I would think that 'surface water' is different to a 'watercourse'. Are there definitions of these? I would take surface water to be something like a pond or lake, which could be on your own private land, but a watercourse might be more of a river, which would flow across a long line of land and more likely be public.
If it has been through a drainage field then there is overflow to water, this is surely different to the tank flowing directly out via a straight pipe into the watercourse?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?0 -
Hmm, just read the .gov guidelines. Seems to me all systems are different and as usual gov guidelines are one-size-fits-all and fail to be of much help.0
