Anyone have the Virgin Black Card for Virgin Air Miles, if so how do you find it and the ability to use the air miles
I am a large spender circa £20k per year on the card (all paid off), and the idea of racking up air miles as I spend.
I am aware of the annual charge.

As far as I am aware for the Air Miles aspect they get no preferential treatment on spending them than anyone else.
The ability to use miles depends somewhat on what you want to use them for/ when etc. I used to easily find upgrades to UC when flying to JFK or DXB with my prior client but in the last year or two they are much less common.0 -
I had one, and the earning rate was brilliant, 2 miles/£1 on the Amex, 1/£1 on the Visa. There's some other benefits such as upgrade vouchers etc. which I never used.
I'd wait for one of the sign up bonuses to come around again, on that case it's been 25,000-32,000 miles in the past year at times.
As for the usefulness of the miles - I've never flown with VS, but have used the miles accrued to book 2x returns to Vegas next month. Availability is good and the taxes aren't too awful. Bear in mind, though, that VS fly mostly to the USA now, with a few exceptions. Their route network has been vastly cut since Delta bought a 49% stake!0 -
