Another Excel PCN question

Options
I've read the advice given in the newbies section tried to piece together what I need to do about a PCN. I've tried to figure it out but still don't completely get it. Excuse me of I'm being a bit thick.

I work for a University where Excel manage the parking. They provide a single badge that goes in the window. No copies are allowed to be made.

On the 1st May I received a PCN on the car. I had forgotten to transfer the badge to my other car.

I've had one of these a couple of years ago and just ignored it. Eventually I stopped receiving the letters and that was the end of it.

Since the 1st May I have received and ignored similar letters from Excel. Yesterday I received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus so decided I would check what the current advice is.

So where do I go from here? Am I too late to start writing letters or whatever? or do I continue to ignore them? or wait for the court summons?

there wont be a court summons as its a civil matter, not a criminal matter

read post #4 of the NEWBIES sticky thread, it tells you about ignoring debt collector letters for 6 years

yes its too late (in theory) to appeal to Excel, even if you do they will reject it and point you at the debt collectors

they also dont allow fair appeals as they now use the kangaroo court called the IAS, a waste of time anyway even if they allowed an appeal

you could try to get a landowner cancellation, this is your best option now , so in your case its your employer, the unversity (get them on your side, get letters in writing etc)

otherwise you ignore anything EXCEPT an LBC or MCOL originated by Excel themselves (not the debt collectors, you ignore them)

Excel have 6 years to bring a court claim (MCOL)
