Has anyone had experience of high interest savings accounts in Turkey? Finansebank are offering 19 pc and have online banking facility. I know that some Brits who live in Turkey (part of the year) have these accounts and are able to live off the interest! Would like to chat with anyone who banks in Turkey for advice/inofrmation. Thank you.

Actually - that's not true.
This was proved last week when I, along with several hundred other tightwads, were treated to a free lunch supplied by Pret when they opened their new store at the north end of London Bridge.
Milton Friedman obviously wasn't quite as wise as he, and everyone else ,thought. :rotfl:0 -
