Deichmann shoes

Just discovered this shop as it came up on FB as a suggested post.

Does anyone have experience of them?Where do they sit in the market, are they good quality and long lasting, or more cheap and cheerful?

Thanks :)

Cheap(ish) and cheerful. Definitely not an 'investment' shoe :)

Quite generous width sizing on a few quite decent lines. Pre-surgery, they were about the only plce that sold affordable shoes I could wear for any length of time without being left in agony.

The prices also meant that I didn't mind that I wore through them quite fast due to having to throw my weight to one side of my foot or that I had to ditch them post-surgery when the new foot-shape meant I had to replace most of my footwear.

I reckon cheap and cheerful. I've only had trainers from Deichmann, but they served their purpose (exercise classes) and I would buy them again.

I like them, had a few pairs for work from here and they've all lasted several months to a year and been under £25.

I've had a few pairs from them. Rarely are they leather, generally cheap and cheerful.

I'd position them above Shoe Zone but slightly below Brantano.

They do actually have some quite good styles, but (as already said) they're mostly plastic.

I bought some gorilla & bear slippers from there in the sale, & although they looked as good at the more expensive sort they were absolutely rubbish. When walking around the house it was like there was no sole at all on the slipper.

I bought some beautiful leather ankle boots there last winter. They were £50 so mid range really.

I had some work shoes (office based) from there. There were comfortable and lasted about twelve months. Half the price of a Clarks pair that last nearly two years, so value for me
It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical
