    You need to follow the advice in #5.

    You have to answer questions truthfully and check any "assumptions" you are agreeing are correct.

    If you do that there is no need for any further volunteering of info that they have not asked about or assumed.

    I'd run a copy of the valuation past our insurers.

    Usually the "long-standing and non-progressive" description means the insurers will relax and accept at standard terms.

    They know if a chartered surveyor had the slightest doubt, a structural engineer's report would have been requested.
