Disabled badge parking ticket drp debt recovery plus ltd #failing to display a valid

Hi
I wonder if someone can help me please?
Bit of a different scenario because I used a disabled badge.
I parked at a hospital in an area that had no signage to mention restrictions, it had double yellows but no tags on the pavement so I am allowed to park there. I have photos from the incident.
Anyway. When I returned I had a ticket and the other cars had a warning letter telling them not to park (they didn't have a disabled badge but they did have some sort of permit). The hospital has since changed its parking policy but I am now being chased for payment of the ticket from drp citing failing to display a valid pay and display ticket or permit, there was no permit necessary in that area and my badge was valid and current. Because of this additional confusion I don't know whether to ignore, contest, or use the regular templates? Can anyone offer advice please? Thanks in advance and I can provide photos of my car and other cars from that day and time if relevant

firstly, as this is a hospital, the yellow lines are graffiti on the private road and not the same as those on a public road which are enforceable so you are confused as to the validity between the two
secondly, your BB is not valid on private roads or car parks, which include the hospital (check your blue booklet)
thirdly, the trust is obliged to have disabled bays for you to park in, so they should have had a policy on this and you should have parked in the disabled bays or wherever you are allowed to park under the Equality Act 2010
the EA2010 covers your disabilities and the landowner (the trust) should make allowances for you, that is the law
DRP are just debt collectors and have no powers at all, so can only send you threatening letters, IGNORE the debt collectors, like post #4 of the NEWBIES sticky thread tells you to do
the real question is :-
which parking company was it who issued the ticket ? and when ?
plus - was this in England or Wales ? OR elsewhere ?0
