i have preordered a game from the website game and it says it has taken £1 from my account to authorise my card and i will revive the £1 back when the authorization has expired. how long does it take for it to expire.

Normally takes about 5 days or so for a card validation to expire and become available again. Depending on the bank as well.0 -
thanks for you response i have been wondering about it for ages because i preordered metal gear solid the phantom pain and i had been wondering when i would get the £1 back so thank you for your help0

It can take up to 7-14 days, usually a lot quicker. It depends on how long the bank holds authorisations so varies a lot.
They take a authorisation (not a actual charge) so they can verify your address / cvv matches for verification to prevent fraud0
