Direct wireless printing from camera?

I've spent hours searching the web but cannot find an answer.
I want to get myself a digital camera and printer that will allow me to take pictures and print the, over a wireless connection without the need for a computer/tablet.
I've had a look at Polaroid type cameras but the picture quality is very poor according to reviews. I've also been looking at printers but they all seem to need a special app on a phone, tablet or computer to print.
It's for use at a pre-school where mobile phones are not permitted. It also has to be as cheap as possible!

You might be able to find a printer that accepts an SD card to print from that you use in the camera.0

There are wifi enabled cameras, Canon have some, and they can certainly email photos and my Epson wireless printer automatically prints any attachments on emails sent to a special email address and so it is possible.
If you do some digging and look at the likes of Canon that do both printers and cameras there may be a slightly more direct route possible.0 -

Google on PICTBRIDGE its not wireless but you just connect the USB cable form the camera to the Printer no PC involved.0 -
I've just bought a wifi enabled Panasonic (GF6) and although I haven't tried it yet it looks reasonably straightforward to direct print pictures.0

You can also get SD cards with built-in wireless adaptors! (I find that amazing given how small the cards are.)
I don't know how well they work or how easy it would be to print directly over a network, but maybe worth a look. Here's a random example:
