Saving money?

Saving money seems so hard these days, I thought maybe I'll find some suggestions here... So how are you managing to do so?

    Spending less than I earn.

    Avoiding coffee shops.

    Preparing lunch at home.

Parking for free and walking. Or just walking.

Stocking up on non-perishable groceries when they're on good offers.

Not buying extra groceries when they're on rubbish offers.

Maximising reward schemes (Tesco, Avios etc).

    Drinking little. Smoking nothing.
  • Good tip! I'll begin with that! :rotfl:

Save first, set your saving target for the week, then when you get paid you transfer your savings into a high interest paying account. You spend what is left.

You never take money from your savings until the goal is achieved.

if it means going without for a few days then go without.

also if you buy the same things every week and you see them on offer, stock up and save in the long run
    Earn, Save and Achieve
  • I tried some different money management apps, like manila, and Cashcontrol, and Cashcontrol seems to work pretty good, it helped me a lot in the last days, i actually saved money, i was surprised, but it seems to work! If you guys find yourself in the same situation as I did, I honestly recomend it!
