False economy, buy proper branded blades, they'll last til your next car.
Cheap ones are likely to deteriorate very quickly, fail and scratch your windscreen.

Even the cheapest blade will give an instant obvious improvement over the old worn blades they replace.

    But it won't last long.

False economy as you'll be needing to buy another set in a couple of months.

Try 'click and collect' from your local Eurocarparts store or their online sister company:

Be careful to get the correct blades, specifically for your car - I don't know about Micras but many cars do not have an identical pair, but have a different size on one side.

The Poundland ones are very poor quality. There are cheap ones at, e.g Tesco or ECP but those will last at least six months without giving trouble. The Poundland ones seem to be wrong from the start -- very thick rubber which squeals and leaves massive streaks on the screen, worse than the refills in my experience.

Michelin Stealth wiper blades are currently just under a fiver at Costco - usual retail price is £15-£20.

    To measure:

Take your measuring tape (99p in B&M etc, very useful about the house), and measure the length of the rubber part when it is flat on the screen.

Round to the nearest inch, and buy this size. (They are usually about 1/4" shorter than the "size")
