    Yay Yay Yay.
The man has just been to fix my freezer, They gave gave me a time just said it would between 7.15am and 6pm, so i was up this morning at 6.15 so i could have breakfast and a wash & shave, and i've just been sitting to make sure i didn't miss him. It's been almost 2wks, he went away for a thermostat and only just come back. A 2 minute job.
Omg don't you miss them, how do people live without them.
I'm lucky that i've got a FridgeFreezer in the kitchen so all the meat & fish i managed to squeeze in there. But bread; milk; veges and some meals i'd made in bulk were in the big freezer in the porch and went in the bin. I left the veges until over the weekend thinking they may freeze again and although not good enough for going on meals i might have been able to use making soup. But it was stinking out there, so for the cost of frozen veg i'm best not bothering.
So i'm going to make some bread now, i haven't had any 'cos it wouldn't keep. Then after lunch go the shops for milk and veges. Tonight i think i'll do a curry in the SC, i had about 6 portions and about the same of sausage casserole all ruined.

    Hi all,

Tru, good luck with the walks, as you know consistency is the name of the game - you'll get there.

Thanks for the best wishes for DD, we're all hoping she'll be properly back on her feet for the weddings - the legal one is only about a month away now, eek.

I'm busy making heart shaped bunting and dying doilys to join together to make table runners. I've also booked on a course at Konditori and Cook to learn how to make their famous Curlywurly cake. They are gorgeous and DD would love one at the wedding, although she'd previously decided not to have a sweet cake, just a cheese cake.

Another one with miserable weather here, but working from home and being a racing fan I have the pleasure of horse racing from Glorious Goodwood to look forward to. Not so glorious this year with the weather, but it is the one racecourse in the UK that I would really, really love to visit, the setting is just gorgeous.

Today is quite busy for me, so I'm being lazy/practical and relying on a ding meal of lasagna and ready prepared coleslaw.

Does anyone else find that RP coleslaw is always swimming in dressing? I find that I can extend it mightily with extra grated carrot - the dressing is always the expensive ingredient in hm coleslaw, so this is a money-saving tip as well.

    Good afternoon everyone.

Its dry and fine here today but rather windy. I'm doing some washing to go out shortly.

DD came home last night and enjoyed her weekend away, we are going to the gym later as we haven't been for ages.

DS is at work at the moment but wants picking up at 6pm.

I'm going to do some gardening in a moment. I have harvested some new potatoes which look lovely, so will have them with something for dinner tonight:)

I'm going to plant some seeds as I got a packet of carrot and beetroot in wilko's sale for 50p so can't go wrong really.

Enjoy your day and hugs and good wishes to everyone.

  • Afternoon ((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.

I have had a busy morning, a bit crackered now. Had two of the ladies from the quilting class here this morning for coffee and collect the bits for the next block. I am going to go on Thursday, but they do not know that, its to be a surprise.......OH is going to take me and take a book to read, am not staying for the whole session though, just too much.

I had hoped to go to Lidl this afternoon, but the workmen from the council have only just arrived to sort the gate and kitchen window. We are waiting for the electricial chappie to come and sort the light in the back bedroom.

    Afternoon all,

Can't believe it's afternoon already. Where does the time go?

Cloudy and very windy here today. I have a skip on my drive that should have been collected last Thursday, DH phoned them again yesterday and was told they have two drivers on holiday and the collections are delayed. Let's hope it goes soon. Been to the bank and for a nose around the charity shops this morning. I've washed and ironed two lots of washing and have a chicken in the slow cooker.

I haven't noticed Judi on here for a while - am I just not seeing her posts or is she MIA?

Have a lovely evening all :)

Mr LW is officially an idiot! He got the mobility buggy out of its shed for me before he went to work this morning - and went off with the key in his shirt pocket! :wall: Luckily there's a spare key, or I'd have been unable to take the dogs out.

I have to walk them separately as their needs are so different - Fingal needs a good long, brisk walk, and Corrie only manages a few minutes, at a snail's pace, bless him. He managed to go as far as the poo bin at the end of the alley today, which is pretty good for him, also he's been playing with one of the toys, giving it a good old "terrier shake" iykwim, so he's doing well today!:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
