does housing beneft effect credit rating?

Hi, I currently rent in the private market but am about to change job to a lower salary which will make it difficult to pay my current rent. I've seen that low income households can receive Local Housing Allowance, which I'm considering applying for before I decide to end my current lease. Would receiving this kind of benefit (paid directly to my current account, rather than renting from a local authority) affect my future credit? I live on my own, and will soon earn £15,500 per annum pre-tax.
Thanks.
Thanks.

It may affect it in the short term (some banks don't like benefits), but in the long term shouldn't be a problem.💙💛 💔0

Your credit rating is effected by you paying your bills or not paying your bills.
Where you get the money from does not matter.
It may affect your ability to borrow in the future as it won't count as eligible income.0
