Not for motor-related claims though I think you'll find.

I think you'll find the exclusion relates to owning, keeping or using a vehicle - not for walking in front of one.
  • That video does divide opinion. I really cannot see how the motorcyclist is to blame. She ran out between two cars in a row of static traffic.

I regularly drive that road too and am baffled by her not using the crossing just 30 seconds walk away!

When you watch the video a 2nd time you then plainly see her movement from the pavement.

I ride myself and have filtered along there (although it is horrible due to the split in the tarmac which causes the bike to squirm all over the place)

When filtering, really you should not do it at more than 10mph along stationary traffic like that as you need to be ready for crazy pedestrians like that or idiots flinging car doors open etc. The biker was going a little too fast and was not keeping a proper lookout and he would get potted for some degree of contrib if she made a claim.

I think this is the reason why head cams and dash cams are the way forward. I don't like the idea of them starting a witchhunt against your old man.

So who would be responsible if this driver had hit this pedestrian?

We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.

Are you on commission for this lot then. Video is not publicly accessible.
