How long will my PIP decision take to come through?

Hi all,
I applied for my PIP in late May, and had my face to face consultation on Friday 24th July.
At the end of my interview, the lady told me I should have a decision within 4 weeks but it could take anything up to 8 weeks. However, she said if I don't hear anything within 4 weeks that I should phone up and pester.
How long did it take for your decision to come through? Furthermore, if you were awarded an amount, how long did it take to appear into your bank account?
