organising bookmarks on a tablet - help needed

I have been using my Hudl2 tablet a lot recently and saved quite a few bookmarks. Now I should like to organise these into folders but cannot find a way of doing this. I have Chrome installed but it does not seem to offer the full set of functions as there is no Organise bookmarks option. Is there an app I can use?

A 'long press' on a bookmark should bring up the option to Edit - think you can add/nominate a folder from there (long time since I used Chrome - ps Firefox doesn't have any means to organise bookmarks...yet?).

There are a few bookmark managers in the Google Play Store if all else fails.

Do you have a laptop or a desktop ??
If you do then just use that to sort out your chrome bookmarks and then let it sync the changes to your tablet. It is much easier than doing it on a tablet or a phone. (at least in chrome)

I don't have the bookmarks on my laptop or desktop at present as I have been collecting them on the Hudl2 while on the road. I don't really need them on the other machines if I can organise them on the Hudl. I tried the long press option to Edit but still could not get the hang of setting up folders and saving to them. There does not appear to be a Bookmark Manager or any direct Organise your bookmarks option on the tablet version of Chrome. Was rather hoping someone could recommend a specific app.

If you can get into the Google Play store, search for bookmark manager - should bring up a few.

if you are logged into chrome on laptop/pc and hudl you should see all your bookmarks on each. maybe easier to log into chrome on pc and organise in bookmark manager from there

I use Opera browser on my Galaxy tablet and within Speed Dial there is a Bookmarks option where you can set them out into whatever categories you wish.

You can download Opera from Google play.

If you go to each individual bookmark and as stated before long press the first one it will open the edit page. The last option is FOLDER click on that and the only option at the moment will be 'mobile bookmarks' there is a button at the top marked 'NEW FOLDER' press that and it will allow you to name a new folder whatever you want. I assume this is what you are grasping at.
