Do the warren buffet way. You invest in the company not the market. If you think that the company has a very sound plan for the future, invest and stay in it even at rough time. It should even be the best time to invest when the price falls.
Of course price might fall further but a sound company will not fall to no end.
Bloomberg, FT or any news agency might give you all sorts of analysis but it is your final WISE decision that counts. Trust yourself. Again what it matters is minimise the risk before thinking about gains. Even if you lose, it is a small loss and you gain the experience on why you failed. I always learn it the tough way but I remember every lesson i learnt.
Nevertheless, I still feel very confident about the current market. Just look around yourself. Are your friends still having the pint in their pubs? Are they having any complaints about money at the time being? Feel for yourself even from your surroundings and you will get a glimpse of what the market is like.0 -
Yes, I remember back in 2002 Bloomberg TV were producing 'experts' that were sure the Ftse was going to drop to around 1700.
..........yeah and in 1999 they had some !!!! on CNBC predicting the Dow would reach 30,000 in 5 years !!!'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0
